Career
Started my career in physical server and database operations, then specialized in AWS from 2023. Recently I build and support AWS infrastructure for financial institutions, while practicing generative AI and serverless design — areas with fewer opportunities at work — through personal projects.
Personal Projects (Serverless Automation Systems)
Designed and built 7 serverless automation systems combining Lambda, Amazon Bedrock, and EventBridge, all running unattended (auto-posting bots, article generation bots, an auto-trading bot, a PWA, and more). Published 64 free CloudFormation templates. Uses this as a hands-on space to practice generative AI and serverless design that come up less often in day-to-day work.
Major Financial Institution — System Integration & Mobile App Feature Addition
Provided parallel technical support for 2 AWS projects under the PL. Led CloudFormation IaC adoption, reducing environment build and change effort by ~40%. Designed automated monitoring with CloudWatch/EventBridge/Lambda, replacing manual nightly checks with instant alert delivery. Also joined requirements discussions and client negotiations.
Major Financial Institution — Customer-Facing Website Infrastructure
Built high-availability web infrastructure with ECS + Auto Scaling. Fully automated multi-environment deployments via CloudFormation IaC, cutting release prep from 1 week to 1 day. Designed CloudWatch alerting and authored incident runbooks, enabling a smooth handover to the operations team.
Internal AWS Infrastructure Build & Operations
Delivered cost reduction through Cost Explorer visibility. Automated VPC/EC2/S3/IAM provisioning with AWS CLI scripts, significantly compressing manual setup time and configuration errors.
Network Equipment Upgrade Test Environment Design & Build
Designed and built a FortiGate upgrade test environment in one week. Created network diagrams and presentation materials, leading technical explanations and proposals to stakeholders.
Data Center Network Operations & Monitoring (Telecom Carrier)
Monitored and operated physical servers and network equipment at a telecom carrier DC. Handled incident escalation and logging, gaining hands-on experience with incident management workflows. Managed fixed asset records, keeping inventory documentation accurate.
Oracle Database Build & Operations
Handled Oracle 19c environment build and configuration tasks. Participated in 12c→19c migration validation using RAT. Documented the build procedure on RHEL 8.2 and put together the team runbook.
